The number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is holding steady at 14, according to the latest numbers released by the state.

However Walton County’s numbers are inching up from 9 Monday evening to 10 as of Tuesday morning.

Santa Rosa has four cases, while Escambia is up to 10, according to the latest release.

The only death, so far, in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton County is one in Santa Rosa County that was travel-related.

Only two of the individuals who tested positive in Okaloosa County have required hospitalization, compared to three of Walton’s 10 cases.

Bay County has one confirmed case of coronavirus.

These numbers will be updated by the state at 5 p.m.

Beaches remain closed across Florida and parents and schools are beginning to figure out a way for students to learn and continue curriculum as both children and parents will be working and learning from home.

Total Florida cases of coronavirus are at 1,227 as of Tuesday March 24, 2020, according to the Florida Department of Health.

There have been 17 deaths reported by the agency.
