Thomas Joseph Lazio, 25, was booked into the jail following a disturbance during which a person died after being stabbed with a pocket knife.
MILTON — A Pace man has been charged with homicide and negligent manslaughter.
According to a press release from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas Joseph Lazio, who is 25, is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail after killing 38-year-old Tommy Jimenez with a pocket knife Sunday.
The release said that deputies were dispatched to a home on the 5300 block of Avenida De Golf in Pace early Sunday evening in response to a disturbance call.
"Inside the home were several adults who were involved in an argument," the release said. "During the course of the argument, one of the adult males pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the adult victim."
The release said that Jimenez was pronounced dead at a local hospital Monday morning.
