AVALON — Two women were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Monday that involved three Milton residents.

According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 7:10 a.m. on Avalon Boulevard near Santa Monica Street.

FHP reported that Beverly Cooley, 47, attempted to switch lanes in her Chevy Tahoe and hit 35-year-old Sarah Kelly, who was driving a Honda Civic.

After the collision, Kelly’s vehicle was pushed into the Ford Mustang of Travey Glasgow, 50.

The crash temporarily blocked all southbound lanes of Avalon Boulevard.

The release said that Kelly was taken to Pensacola Sacred Heart with minor injuries. Glasgow, who also sustained minor injuries, was taken to Santa Rosa Hospital.

Cooley escaped unscathed and was charged with improper change of lane and pulling out in front of a vehicle going in the same direction, FHP said.
