American Christian Academy won the Alabama High School Athletic Association state cross country girls Class 4A championship on Saturday in Danville.

Other top finishes in the meet, all who made all-state, included Holy Spirit’s Anaelyse Perez-Ruiz (21:02.68) who placed 3rd in Class 1A/2A; ACA’s Karis Kelley (20:04.65) who finished 5th, Lucy Guthrie (20:30.92) who was 8th, Kyndall Foley (20:35.73) and Kristin Hobson (20:55.70) who was 15th in Class 4A; and Northridge’s Mary Mac Collins (19:21.28) who finished 5th in Class 6A.
