MILTON — A 16-year-old girl that went missing Tuesday has been found safe, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office said.

Previous information:

Kyla Jade Shannon is white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 190 pounds and has blue eyes and black hair. She also might have a nose ring, according to the Sheriff's Office.

She was last seen on Pebble Brook Drive in Milton on June 28.

It was initially believed that Shannon intentionally ran away from home, but later received information that she may be endangered. She might be in the company of a white woman who is about 40 years old, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She may be in the Pensacola or Panama City area.
