Meet Larry the Alligator. Like many Floridians, he spends his retirement golfing and enjoying quiet walks in his Brownwood neighborhood in Florida. He doesn’t want to be bothered by anyone, and apparently, he doesn’t want to bother anyone either.

But he will occasionally interrupt a neighbor’s golf swing for a photo opp.

According to a YouTube video uploaded by Villages-News.com on Saturday, Larry “came out of his personal pond, which is located just off County Road 44-A and Shady Nook Run, about a block behind the Citizens First Bank branch” to enjoy some sun “as he often does.”

Brownwood is just south of Ocala, and of course, community members stopped in their tracks to watch Larry cross their path. See the video here.
