NAVARRE — The search of a car after a traffic stop early Tuesday led to the arrest of three people, recovery of a stolen gun and a large amount of drugs.

According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was patrolling Reagan Road about 2 a.m. when a silver Toyota SUV carrying four people was spotted without a license plate.

During the traffic stop, the vehicle was confirmed to have been stolen from Okaloosa County. All the people in the SUV were detained. Before the vehicle was towed for processing, deputies searched the car and found a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun with a bullet in the chamber and 7 bullets in the magazine under the front passenger seat, where one of the occupants reached earlier during the stop, an arrest report said.

The gun was confirmed to have been stolen in Fort Walton Beach. Deputies also found more than 100 grams of methamphetamine, 4.1 grams of heroin, marijuana and narcotics equipment.

Donna Medeiros, 18, was charged with trafficking meth, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of narcotics equipment. She was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on $102,000 bond.

Brandon Parker, 37, was charged with distributing meth, trafficking heroin and possession of narcotics equipment. He was booked into the jail on $126,000 bond.

Gesnan Urbina, 30, was arrested for possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon from another state, grand theft of a firearm, and being in possession of a weapon without a license. Urbina was booked into the jail on $33,500 bond.

The status of the fourth person in the Toyota was unclear.
