OKALOOSA COUNTY — A 56-year-old Indiana man is dead following a two-car accident Tuesday on Interstate 10.
The accident happened just before 9 p.m.
The man's identify was not released pending next of kin, according to a Florida Highway Patrol media release.
The victim was stopped in the emergency lane facing east near Mile Marker 60.
Ahmed Zeb Khan, a 56-year-old Georgia man, was also traveling east. He tried to move over to give the other vehicle some space, when the victim made an illegal U-turn, striking the passing car.
The victim, who was in a 1997 Honda Civic, died.
Zhan, who was driving a Volvo, was uninjured.
