MILTON — Two drivers were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital Friday night after a crash on Interstate 10.

According to the media release from Florida Highway Patrol, Roland Nabors was traveling northbound on County Road 191 in a 2008 Chevy Silverado around 9:30 p.m. Friday night. Michael Flyum was also traveling northbound in a 1996 Chevy Suburban.

Nabors failed to slow down, collided with the read of the Suburban and continued northbound striking a tree on the shoulder of the westbound entrance ramp of Interstate 10.

Flyum spun clockwise and collided with the concrete barrier on the shoulder of the northbound lanes.

Nabors, 53, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola by ambulance. Flyum, 79, was transported via helicopter and is listed in serious condition.

Charges are pending further investigation from FHP.
