The funds will be used to support a Career Ops program for 9th through 12th grade students, according to a press release from the school district.

“It will also increase their awareness of employment opportunities and the education and training required for them to be competitive in the workplace following graduation,” the release stated. “Career specialists will encourage the students to stay in school and help them formulate plans to prepare for careers in their chosen fields.”
