A Pensacola man was arrested Friday in Milton for pushing and threatening his cousin after his relative told him to not smoke a joint in his house, Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office reports.

Jermarrick O’Ryan Hudson, 26, arrived at his cousin’s home to retrieve some of his clothes he’d left there on a chair, said deputies. However, Michael D. Johnson, Hudson’s relative said he lit up a blunt of marijuana and began to smoke in his home, reports said. Deputies report Hudson became belligerent immediately, and kicked out the glass in his cousin’s front door. Reports said when Johnson reacted to it, Hudson began to push him and put a .38 caliber gun in his cousin’s face. Deputies reported he told his cousin he would be taking his money and whatever else as he held it to his face. SRSO also reports he told his cousin he would be coming back to burn his house down and ran off down Rosasco Street. Johnson told deputies he was afraid of retaliation so he asked the Sheriff’s Office to take Hudson’s clothing out of the house, reports said. Johnson suffered a scratch on his right ring finger, a scratch on the right side of his stomach, and a torn shirt. When the clothing was retrieved two baggies of white powder fell out that eventually, reports said, tested positive for methamphetamine. Other deputies were in the neighborhood searching for Hudson, who was wearing a camouflage jacket, white shirt and dark colored blue jeans.

Deputies report he was found in the woods just west of Sessions Apartments. Reports said Hudson told deputies the argument he had with his cousin was “just a thang.” Hudson told deputies he didn’t know anything about a gun and did not have one. The methamphetamine had a weight of 2.1 grams and a total package weight of 2.3 grams. Hudson was arrested for domestic violence battery, assault with intent to commit a felony, damage prop-crim mischief, drugs-possession with intent to sell. He is being held on $22,000 bond.
