Pass Christian Police Investigator Mike Lally says he is not ready to release information regarding a possible suspect in the killing of former Milton High School student Camille Riley (Paul).

Lally says, "Everything is still under investigation," even though friends of the victim are circulating the name of a potential suspect on Facebook.

Sheriff's investigators are working with Lally and the police department in Pass Christian.

Riley was found dead in Pass Christian, Mississippi, after being reported missing more than two weeks ago.

Riley, 20, Long Beach, was last seen alive on Sept. 27, according to Associated Press reports. She was reported missing on Oct. 4th.  Her photo and description appeared on a Facebook page called LostNMissing Inc., as well as in area media where she was last seen.

One Sheriff’s investigator in Harrison County Mississippi says the agency is close to making an arrest in the case, but would offer no additional details. Investigator Kevin Hicks says his agency is working with the police department, because Riley's remains were found inside the city limits, near a railroad track.

It is being reported that a passerby told authorities he smelled an odd odor and saw a human foot, prompting him to call authorities.

Local Mississippi news station WLOX say Riley was identified through dental records and tattoos during an autopsy Saturday.  The medical examiner there ruled the cause of death as asphyxia and her death is being treated as a homicide.

The news of Riley’s homicide was released Saturday and Facebook posts from friends in Santa Rosa County began pouring onto her timeline page.

A Facebook post made by Camille’s brother, Kevin Riley on Monday evening announced funeral arrangements, saying, “Camille Riley funeral arrangements will be at Riemann's funeral home on Commission Rd in Long Beach MS (39560) on Thursday Oct. 24. The service starts at 4 and will end at 6:30 p.m. Immediately following will be her memorial service. To anybody who would like to show up, we know Camille would greatly appreciate all of her friends that can be there. If anybody has any questions message me and I will be glad to answer them.”
