Emerald Coast Hospice is seeking individuals who enjoy meeting new people, listening, talking and helping patients and families in need to join our team and become a hospice volunteer.

Emerald Coast Hospice is a non-profit organization that provides a specialized form of home healthcare to patients with life-limiting illnesses.  At Emerald Coast Hospice we believe that every moment matters. Our hospice program is designed to help make the most of each day and help provide the support that every family needs at this time.

Volunteers are a special part of this mission by providing comfort and companionship to these patients out of the kindness of their hearts.  Becoming an Emerald Coast Hospice volunteer is one of the most rewarding and gratifying roles you may ever undertake because volunteers truly make a difference in our patients and their family’s lives.

Volunteers receive training on how to communicate with compassion and learn important listening skills. Volunteers are supported in helping our patients through monthly meetings and newsletters, in-service education, special events, and projects.

For more information on how you can volunteer for Emerald Coast Hospice contact Vangie Anastopoulo, Volunteer Coordinator at 438-2201.
