The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting a Semi Trailer caught fire early Monday morning on the Interstate, between Hwy 87 South and the Okaloosa County line.

No one was injuried in the incident. Only one vehicle was involved.

It started around 12:38 a.m. when the axel of the semi caught fire for unknown reasons, according to FHP. The vehicle was traveling westbound at mile marker 40 at the time. The driver, Raysean Torrell Bellamy, 27, North Port, Florida, pulled over to the north shoulder while it was burning. Neither Bellamy or his passenger, Lester Milton Martin, 59, Bradenton, Florida, were injured.

Reports say items inside the trailer caught fire. It is reported the semi had "disabling damage".

Holt Fire Department responded and took the incident report involving the fire, according to FHP.
