Pensacola Ice Flyers' head coach, Gary Graham, has set his 2013 playoff roster for the upcoming Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) President's Cup Playoffs. The Ice Flyers roster has gone through changes all season long, greatly due to the ending of the NHL lockout in mid-January.

Last week, the Ice Flyers saw Pat Knowlton, who was the Pensacola's leading scorer prior to being called up, return to Pensacola and have an immediate impact.

This playoff roster adds three more players that began the season in Pensacola and are now returning after playing at the 'AA' level like Knowlton: forward John Dunbar and defenseman Jeremy Gates, returning from Fort Wayne of the ECHL; and goalie Ross MacKinnon, coming back after playing with Bloomington of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

This is the complete playoff roster:

1 Ross MacKinnon

2 Nick Dupuis

5 Brad Cooper

7 Justin MacDonald

9 Jordan Chong

10 Brandon Vossberg

19 Mike MacIntyre

21 Ron Cramer

22 Jeremy Gates

23 Ryan Salvis       "A"

26 Steve Bergin

27 Joe Caveney

34 Gerry Festa

42 John Dunbar

44 Dan Buccella     "A"

55 Mitchell Good

74 Tyler Soehner   "C"

86 Pat Knowlton

To create roster space, Graham released goalie John Griggs, who is a college senior that played Division I hockey for Alabama-Huntsville that was called up after MacKinnon moved up to play in the CHL. Forward Justin Alonzo was also released after joining the Ice Flyers when his senior season at Castleton State College finished.

Defenseman Kevin Kozlowski and forward Brent Clarke have been placed on the 30-day Injured Reserve List after they sustained injuries in the final weekend of the regular season. Pensacola will play Game 1 in Biloxi, MS. versus the Mississippi Surge on Friday, Mar. 29 at 7:05 p.m. Game 2 will be on Tom Thumb Ice at the Pensacola Bay Center on Saturday, Mar. 30 at 7:05 p.m., and if necessary Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 31 at 6:05 p.m. T

he Ice Flyers organization is bringing back the "White Out" as they did last season during the playoffs. All fans are encouraged to wear white to the home playoff games.
