FCSR Soccer sign-ups: Registration is currently on going for the spring recreational soccer season on the Futbol Club of Santa Rosa website, www.fcsantarosa.com. The registration period will run through March 2010. The registration fees are: U6-$65 and U8 and above-$75, onsite registration will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:00PM . City of Milton Golf Tournament for Relay: The 9th annual City of Milton Employees’ Golf Tournament will be held on March 19 at Tanglewood Golf and Country Club in Milton with a shotgun start at noon. The cost per player is $70 which includes green fees, cart & barbeque. Team sponsorships are $340. Tee and green advertisements are available for $70 per sign. All forms can be downloaded at www.ci.milton.fl.us. Donations for door prizes are needed. All proceeds benefit Milton Relay for Life. Wresting practice: Youth wrestling every Tuesday and Thursday at Hobbs Middle School. Practice will run 7-8:30 p.m., with Olympic Coach Rob Hermann running the Tuesday sessions. Practice is open to all ages and both genders. This year, wrestlers will face off against Niceville, Crestview, Gulf Breeze, Panama City and Pensacola YMCA. Milton sign-ups: City of Milton youth baseball and softball registration is underway and will continue until the leagues reach the maximum capacity of players. The child’s age as of April 30, 2010 will determine which league they play in: ages 5 & 6 T-ball, 7 & 8 coach pitch and 9-14 kid pitch. The fee is $50 for the first child and $45 for each additional child. Price includes: shirt, cap and trophy. Head coach’s children play for free. Forms and payment will be accepted Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 8 p.m. or on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Milton Community Center, 5629 Byrom Street. Season will begin March 15. GPYAC sign-ups: Gospel Projects registration is underway for T-ball, girls softball and boys baseball. Registration is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday at Santa Rosa Christian School or 9 a.m. to noon at the Gospel Projects Youth Athletic Club. Gospel Projects provides programs for children from 3-and-one-half to 14. If you want more information or are interested in coaching, umpiring or sponsoring a team, call 623-4671. There are no reserved spots for returning players, and GPYAC reserves the right to close registration in any league before the Feb. 13 deadline if numbers dictate. EMYA spring sign-ups: East Milton Youth Association is hosting its spring sports registrations for baseball, softball and soccer 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday. Registration is $70 per person, and a East Milton Youth Association Family Membership is $20. A late registration fee may apply after Feb. 13. Arthritis Walk: The Arthritis Foundation's annual 2010 Arthritis Walk will take place on April 24 at 9:00 a.m. at the West Florida Rehabilitation Institute on North Davis Highway.
