Subway High School All-Star Soccer roster announced

Ten seniors will be representing north Santa Rosa County in the upcoming 2011 Subway High School All-Star Soccer Game Presented by the Andrews Institute. 

The 5th Annual All-star Game will be played Feb. 25 at Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Escambia County. Beginning at 6 p.m. the women will take the field with the men playing shortly after the women’s game.

 On the East girls squad there will be six seniors with Loren Moran, Jamie Townley, Erin Anderson, and Madeline Gunther representing Pace High School, while Briana Holmes and Mikey Drinkard will represent Milton High.

Making the boys roster for the East All-Starts are Pace seniors Cullen Flower, Estaban Ramirez, and Landon Stinson, while Milton will be represented by senior Shane Dunne.

In all there will be 11 girls from Santa Rosa County and nine boys representing the county when you include the seniors from Navarre High and Gulf Breeze High schools

As usual the East All-Stars will consist of seniors form Santa Rosa and Okaloosa County, while the West All-Stars will represent Escambia County.

Head coaches for this year’s event for the East Squad girls will be coached by Bill Wilkins from Ft. Walton Beach High School and the boys all-stars will be coached by Scottie Milton of Crestview High School for the East Boys. Dave McCarthey from West Florida and Steve Young from Escambia High School are the West Boys and Girls Coaches, respectively.

 Tickets to the game are only $7.  Fans are encouraged to bring canned good items to donate to the Manna Food Pantry to get a discount on game admission. 

 Fan events will include the Academy Sports + Outdoors Fan Contest in which four lucky fans will have the opportunity to win up to $200 each in Academy Sports + Outdoors gift cards.
