Gospel Projects Baseball Registration
Registration for Tee Ball, Girls Fast-Pitch Softball, and Boy’s Baseball will begin Jan. 17. You can register at the Santa Rosa Christian School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Gospel Projects Youth Athletic Club provides programs for children ranging in ages from 3-and-a-half to 14 and beginning this spring will be affiliated with USSSA Recreation play.
If you would like more information or are interested in coaching, umpiring, or sponsoring a team contact Tod Brainard at 623-4671. All returning players from last year must register this year. GPYAC reserves the right to close registration in any league prior to the Feb. 18 deadline if numbers dictate.
4th Annual Pace High School Patriot Alumni Day & 30 Inning Game
Pace High School will host its fourth annual Patriot Alumni Day and 30 inning game on Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Pace High School Baseball Stadium. There will be an alumni homerun derby, 30 innings of baseball, and homerun derby for the kids with prizes. Admission $5.00 ages 13 and up, while Pace students are free with a Student ID
Patriot Yard Sale
Pace High Baseball Booster’s will have a yard sale Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at 8:00 am – until everything is gone. The sale will be at the left field entrance to the ballpark.
Miracle League Pensacola Registrations
Spring 2012 registration for the Miracle League Pensacola will take place Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. – noon at Miracle League Pensacola Park on Nine Mile Road. The park is located across Nine Mile Road from Hillcrest Baptist Church. Registration fees are $40 for 4 – 11 years of age, $45 for 12 -18 years of age, and $50 from 19 and older. The Miracle League of Pensacola provides physically and mentally challenged individuals a safe and spirited program in which they can hit, run, and catch on a baseball field. MLP offers a unique and memorable opportunity for these exceptional people to experience baseball.
Milton Youth Softball & Baseball Registration Underway
City of Milton youth softball and baseball registration is underway and will continue through March 5. Register Monday through Friday from 12:30 - 8 p.m. or on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Milton Community Center on Byrom St. The fee per child is $80, which includes a ball cap, shirt and trophy. Some children may qualify to play for free.
Teams consist of coed T-ball for children ages four to 6; coed coach pitch for children ages seven to 8; kid pitch baseball for children ages nine to 14; and softball for girls ages nine to 16. The child’s age as of April 30 will determine which league they may play in.
The season is scheduled to begin in mid-March. Games will be played at the Milton ballparks and at Santa Rosa SportsPlex.

Early Learning Coalition Golf Scramble
The Early Learning Coalition of Santa Rosa County will host its first ELC Golf Tournament at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Navarre on March 2 at noon. This three-person scramble is $75 per player or $225 per team. Registration includes meal, awards, beverages, cash prizes, goodie bags, door prizes, unlimited range balls, bag drop, on the course players contests, and much more. City of Milton Employees Plan Golf Tournament to Benefit Relay for Life
City of Milton employees will host the 11th Annual World Wide Cure for Cancer golf tournament, to benefit Relay for Life, on March 16.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at noon at Tanglewood Golf and Country Club, Milton. The cost is $80 per player or $400 per team. The price includes green fees, use of a cart and a meal. Tee and green advertisement is $80 per sign. Forms can be downloaded at www.ci.milton.fl.us.
Donations for door prizes, raffle items, goodie bag swag and snacks are needed.
