Blue Jeans and Barbecue to support Covenant Hospice
Covenant Hospice will present the 5th Annual Blue Jeans & BBQ, a family festival and bull riding competition. The event features live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, a grand prize drawing, activities for children, a PBR Buckle Series bull riding competition and barbecue for purchase from Red Barn BBQ.
The event will be held from 4 - 9 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Santa Rosa County Horse & Soccer Complex located at 3360 Joppa Rd. The fun-filled family festival will feature arts and crafts vendors, a Kiddie Korral, and live entertainment from The Rowdies. The bull riding competition will begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets to the event may be purchased in advance for $10 each, or at the gate for $15 per ticket. Children under 12 receive free admission. Red Barn BBQ will be offering various menu items for purchase and a portion of their proceeds will be donated to benefit Covenant Hospice. This year’s grand prize drawing is a 2011 John Deere riding lawn tractor donated by Smith Tractor Co. in Jay. Drawing tickets are available one for $10 and three for $25.
Covenant Hospice is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, services to patients and loved ones during time of life-limiting illnesses. Proceeds from Blue Jeans & BBQ support Covenant Hospice’s mission to add life to days when days no longer can be added to life.
