Visitors enjoyed fresh fruit, ice cream from a floating store, and grilled burgers and hot dogs. Several vendors were on hand displaying art, crafts, and other wares. Some escaped the heat by having fun in the river, while others relaxed in the shade. During the concert, door prizes were awarded. The grand prize winner for the night was Judy Shiver, who won $200 in cash. After the concert, the Blackwater Pyrates hosted a lighted boat parade. |
