Letters to the Editor - March 13, 2010

How time flies and circumstances change.  From the early 1990’s, till about 2000, you could really learn a lot about governments and politics by listening to a local radio station because of the following:

Callers into local stations included at least one medical doctor, two dentists, one pharmacist, one engineer, a tax expert and his spouse, a person who had read the Koran, a farmer from Allentown, several retired military who questioned he government, two good old boys that owned mules, one of which rode his mule to the radio station from Allentown, plus two wide-eyed anti-government conspiracists, John K and BJ.

The 8 a.m. host was a past mayor of Milton, a stunt pilot, a long time recipient of Santa Rosa County, a County Commissioner, and owner of the radio station.

Tune in now at 8 a.m. and compare the callers listed above and the host. 

Also, now if you disagree with the propaganda, put out you are banned, gotten off the air as quickly as possible, or interrupted over and over again.

One person has been banned for seven years now for telling the truth and based on several lies, where there is audiotape available. 

One was banned for suggesting an alternate news program, and another was banned for questioning why the two Thursday hosts were so preoccupied with the Florida governor maybe being a homosexual and asked if they had proof. 

“Me thinks they doth protest too much.”

All this goes along with statements such as the Bible was 3,000 years old, the Israelis discovery of billions of barrels of oil, changed to billions of cubic feet of natural gas, and recently a bottle of beeer had 450 to 500 calories?

Finally, their defense of the School Board and Superintendent of Schools on the prayer in schools First Amendment issue.  Have they or the above actually read the consent decree before they agreed to it?

Tune in and check this out.  Wonder is the financial supporters know all of this?

Dear Editor,

This is for the haters I have to still yet live with everyday, and the first thing some of them will say is, I’m not like that.  But let me make this very clear.  Jesus said “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them,” and after that, I have forgiven often times.  Hate is a word that people put in action. Because some people will kill only because they hate.  There are two kinds of hate, a physical hate is the one where as the hater has in his heart to kill for no reason other than just being stupid, or just to impress someone.  But then again, they may be a coward to the fact of life.  And the other man in fact has a right to live, and let die also.  He also has the right to live freely and pursue happiness, and have his beings. 

No mere man has any right to deny the grant to life.  There has been more death to people of color than need be, physically only because of who they are by color.  However spiritual hate is done from the inside out.  It’s way down in the heart.  Someone who hates from the heart is a person not to be trusted, because if hating is all in this world, a hater to do, and sit around and think up hatefulness about other people just because of color is a fool. 

God said “love one another”—if I was to be foolish enough to hate someone, I wouldn’t hide behind bed sheets, or hide behind a rebel flag.  Because a lot of people of color die for the cause of that flag.  Also, I wouldn’t run my mouth about you with a crowd, all this an act of a coward. 

I don’t fear no man, it doesn’t matter where he may come from, even hell.  Because I have the devil under my feet.  Now let me speak at the preacher.  Y’all need to preach more about love for each other, of all mankind.  Money is the root of evil, and a lot of church folks are in line for hell. The closet Christians are the ring leaders.  They love God on Sunday, and kill him on Monday. Having their glass of wine on Friday like they are the at the last supper with Christ.  A whole bottle.  And go out on the roads and kill people.  It’s a shame.  Praising God and out of that same death pit of a mouth, they hate their brother of color.

Mr. Obama is where he’s supposed to be in time.  Can any man “change” time, or just waste it hating and killing?  I’ve never knew why any man can hate someone they don’t even know.  It would seem to me that you need to give someone a chance to do you wrong before you dislike them, or that person.  But I want you to know this.  I am who I am by the grace of God, not because of my race, and folks need to teach their children that hate is a sinful act, and to all my haters, I am a true red man by the blood of Jesus.
