First, Gulf Power eliminated its drive-through payment box. Now it’s not accepting payment at its business locations.

Oh, I get it.

If you raise rates, the Public Service Commission gets involved. But if you reduce services and charge a “service fee” of $1.50, it’s OK.

For now, I think the easiest, and most economical, way to pay for this monopoly’s product is to put a 50-cent stamp on the envelope and mail your payment to Birmingham.
