During the first week of July, we traveled from Crestview to Jacksonville, Ocala, Sarasota, Fort Myers, and back to Jacksonville, and then home to Crestview. In all of those places, including stops in between, the price of gas was $2.05-$2.06. There was one stop somewhere, I forget where, the price was a whopping $2.15. When we arrived back in Crestview, the price was $2.31 and up. I called the county commissioners with no response.

I would like to know why we have the highest prices. In Ohio, where we come from, there are laws against price-gouging. If there is a good reason for the prices, I would like to know. Not only do the tourists have to pay, the local residents and military have to live with this.
