Two Pensacola robberies in 7 hours

Escambia Sheriff's Office reports the following details regarding two robberies

Investigators are searching for the suspect or suspects involved in two robberies which occurred within 7 hours of each other starting Sunday afternoon @ 18:51 hours (Alicia’s Food Mart) and the second after midnight @ 01:34 hours (8-27-07, Groovin Noovin).

On 8/26/2007 Deputies responded to 8701 Gulf Beach Highway, Alicia's Food Mart and Deli, in reference to a Robbery of a Business. Erica Bradley, who is an employee for Alicia's Food Mart, said that while the store was empty, a white male approximately 5'06" to 5'10" and approximately 170 to 180 pounds, wearing a dark colored long sleeved shirt with a white mask over his face and a white ball cap turned around backwards on top of his head, entered the store and went straight to her at the cash register and displayed a hand gun and demanded money.

She handed the money to the white male at which point he exited the store.

The white male could possibly have had a thin goatee and ran out of the store in a southeast direction.

The K-9 Officer conducted a track but was unable to locate the suspect at this time.

On 8-27-07 at approximately 01:34 hours Deputies responded to 1112 N Navy Blvd (Groovin Noovin's) in reference an armed robbery. The suspect was a white male approximately 5'08", slender build wearing blue baggy shorts and black shirt and was armed with a box cutter. He was last seen leaving the store on foot in a westerly direction.

The clerk, Said that the suspect was in the store for only a few seconds and demanded all the money.

After grabbing the money, the suspect was last seen going around the west side of the building.

She then set off the silent alarm and called 911.

It appeared the white male was wearing baggy blue jean shorts that hung to his shins, white tennis shoes, a long sleeve light blue shirt, and had some type of black shirt wrapped over his face. These two robberies may be related.
