Thanksgiving served at USO NAS location
USO of Northwest Florida will be hosting a Thanksgiving Feast & Festivities at their Naval Air Station location during the Thanksgiving weekend.
This weekend will kick off on Thanksgiving Day with the traditional feast and football on the menu.
Food service on Thanksgiving will begin at noon, Thursday.
Friday and Saturday will have more football and a BBQ. We expect to serve 1,000 of our nation’s heroes Thanksgiving Day and close to 2,500 over the Thanksgiving weekend.
According to Heidi Blair, USO Director Northwest Florida, we are fully staffed with volunteers thanks to the amazing people in the area. PenAir Federal Credit Union donated 65 turkeys to kick the event off on the right foot. We still have some need for food. Needs list is attached.
