A truck carrying wet cement lost part of its load onto the middle of Sterling Way, just west of Mulat Road about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The street was closed for about two hours while crews scraped and sprayed the mixture off the roadway. The Avalon Fire Department assisted while sheriff's deputies kept traffic at bay.
