Get a Taste for Art
The Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation is getting ready for its second annual “Get a Taste for Art”
This experience is going to be even bigger this year as the event will also include its own cupcake challenge as they look to take local residents on a trip to the British Issles with castles and knights.
While celebrating music with art, song, dance and other forms of chocolate; the Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation will host the Royale Cupcake Challenge to find the finest cupcake in Santa Rosa County.
This is an open competition in conjunction with the July 30 event at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium and features two categories.
Those who are professional bakers and those who are just your enthusiastic home baker.

This year’s ‘Get a Taste for Art’ will also feature some very talented individuals including Santa Rosa’s very own Sarah Worthylake who will be singing two songs from the Phantom of the Opera.
Other acts include Sweet Prospects with instrumental music, a dance performance by April Arnold, and the Teen Shakespeare Group.
Also this event will feature the culinary artistic creations from local caterers like Signature Catering, D’Won’s-Bayou Café, Steven’s Deli, Old Post Office Antiques & Café, Momma’s Place-Country Creole and Bodacious Pies, who all will be competing against each other as well.
Also at this black tie optional event will be a silent auction, with proceeds going to continue the arts in the area.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the door or at the Dragon Fly Art Gallery in Milton
