'Rednecks' provide gifts for 41 children

Cotton Real Estate’s entry was declared the winning float in the annual Chumuckla Redneck Parade on Sunday. The annual Redneck Parade is held to raise money to buy gifts and clothing for needy children from Chumuckla Elementary and Central High Schools.

President of the Chumuckla Athletic Association Robbie Foster says although the parade is a fun event, it is important to recognize the true intent of the parade.

“We raised enough money this year from the parade to buy Christmas gifts and clothes for 41 children,” says Foster. “We want to give a big thank you to all 57 of our sponsors this year.”
