Flower show opens at the Visitor Center

The Navarre Garden Club will sponsor their annual flower show at the Navarre Visitor Center on June 3rd & 4th. The show this year is titled “Celebration”, and has advanced to a Standard Flower Show. In past years it was always a “Small-Standard” Show.

Garden Club Members are invited to make submissions in any of three Divisions, Horticulture, Floral Design, or Special Exhibits. Each of these Divisions contains a number of sub-categories. For more information call Martha Considine, Show Chairman at 862-3282.

The Show will be judged by officials from the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Judging will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3rd.

Following the judging, the show will be opened for public viewing from 3 to 5 on Wednesday, and from 10 to 4 on Thursday. Judging by last year’s show, this is an event not to be missed.
