Medical Examiner looking into homicide
The Milton Police Department is awaiting a report from the Florida Medical Examiner as it looks into the death of two Milton residents on Sellers Drive.
Back on July 9 Milton Police responded to a 9-11 call from a home located in the 6400 block of Sellers Street around 8:30 a.m.
When officers entered the home they found Ronald Duffy, 71, and Idola Duffy, 73, both lying in their bed.
They were pronounced dead at the scene by Lifeguard EMS Supervisor Adam McCarthy.
Milton Police indicated in the report there was no signs of forced entry or any disturbance to the residence on Sellers Drive.
The Santa Rosa County Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded and collected a note located on the kitchen counter in a spiral book with entries that spanned three days.
According to Milton Police the note included apologies from Ronald Duffy and that both were suffering from medical conditions.
