Poodle Skirts & Leather Jackets Wanted benefit gala
The Redeemer Lutheran School, located at 333 Commerce Street in Pensacola, will be holding its third annual gala benefit, “Grease,” themed after the movie on March 13, from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. at New World Landing. The evening begins with a full-course seated dinner and includes several great silent auction tables and features a rousing live auction. This annual event helps fund much needed scholarships, the school’s computer lab and library and other services for the school. For more information, call 850/455-0330.
Calvary Baptist Church Revival
Evangelist Rick Ingle will lead revival services at Calvary Baptist Church, Highway 89 in Allentown, beginning Sunday, March 7 through Wednesday, March 10th. Sunday morning service will be at 11 a.m. and Sunday evening service will be at 6 p.m. Evening services for Monday through Wednesday are at 7 p.m. Music evangelists Paul and Christy Newberry will direct and provide special music for each service. Family Promise and Angel Food Ministries Fundraisers
Community Fish Fry with all the extras to be held at First Presbyterian Church of Milton at 5203 Elmira Street on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.There will be baked beans, cole slaw, cheese grits, hushpuppies, and iced tea for $5.00. The fish fry is sponsored by 4th Day Groups: “The Early Risers, and “The Seekers”. Music will be provided by “The Elements”.
Pine Terrace Baptist Church Yard Sale
Exercise equipment, furniture, Christmas knick-knacks, clothing, books, DVDs and much more make up the inventory for the Pine Terrace Baptist Church Girls in Action (G.A.s) yard sale. Join us for the fundraiser March 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., and March 6, from 7 to 2 p.m., at 3971 Berryhill Road in Pace. Please note that the sale will be held at this home address and not at the church.
This is a huge yard sale with a large variety of items for purchase. Donations for the yard sale have already filled two large PODS storage containers.
