Clearwire to Host Job Fair for Technical Support Professionals on September 1 with TEAM Santa Rosa and Locklin Tech
Clearwire Communications, LLC will host a job fair together with TEAM Santa Rosa and Locklin Tech to promote employment opportunities in technical support. The job fair will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 Noon until 5 p.m. at Locklin Tech’s Russell Center.
Qualified applicants will have an opportunity to speak with Clearwire representatives on site. Potential candidates should provide resumes and are required to have a high school diploma and experience in technical support.
Training classes for this round of hiring will begin on September 14, 2009.
“Our last joint job fair brought in more than 250 applicants. As we fill this class on Tuesday, we are one step closer to fulfilling our goal of 500 employees at our Milton center,” stated Clearwire’s Milton Site Manager Danny Kruse.
“When companies grow in our area like Clearwire has over the last few years, we improve the quality of life for local residents. That’s good for the economy and great for our workforce,” stated Ed Gray, TEAM Santa Rosa Chairman.
Clearwire currently employs over 400 people at the Milton location and 2,000 employees nationwide.
TEAM Santa Rosa has partnered with Clearwire and Locklin Tech in their recruitment efforts in the Santa Rosa area. Locklin offers training that can enhance computer skills that may be funded by Workforce Escarosa for qualified students
