Kemp gets doctorate from UF
Dr. Charles A. Kemp graduated from the University of Florida Doctorate of Pharmacy Program on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011. Kemp was one of 69 Pharmacists from around the country who were declared Doctors of Pharmacy on Saturday. Degrees were conferred upon the graduates by the schools' Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. William H. Riffee.
Dr. Kemp is a 1996 Graduate of Auburn University Pharmacy School. Kemp has held Director positions in Clinical and Retail Pharmacies since graduating from Auburn. While working on the Program, Kemp did work in Tampa. Jacksonville, Las Vegas and Gainesville.
Kemp decided in December of 2007 to return to school to obtain a Doctorate in Pharmacy. He completed nine consecutive semesters at UF. While working on his Doctorate, he worked extensively with the Gold Team at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
Dr. Kemp is a member of the American Society of Health Care Pharmacists, Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists and the Florida Pharmacy Association. Dr. Kemp resides in Pace, with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Kemp was born in Milton.
