Block Party happening!
Westminster Presbyterian Church, 6659 Park Avenue, Milton, just on the south side of MHS, is inviting the community to come and join us for lunch! Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided; bring a dessert to share if you would like, but it is not required. Everyone is welcome. Join us from 2:00-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14 for good food, good fellowship, and fun.
Scripture Study
Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will be holding a scripture study beginning Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. and will continue every Thursday thereafter. For more information, call 850/313-1793 to RSVP.
Fish Fry
Bagdad First Assembly of God located at 4513 Forsyth Street in Bagdad will have a Fish Fry on Saturday, May 14 beginning at 11 a.m. until… The Ladies Group will be sponsoring this event. The Fish Fray will include Fried Mullet, Hush Puppies, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Pickles, Dessert and Drinks. Adult meals will be $7.00 and a child’s meal will be $4.50. New Pastor of Concord Church to be installed
Concord Presbyterian Church will install their new pastor, Rev, Dr. Jonathan Becker on Sunday, May 15. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. with sermon by Rev. Robert Hornick, interim pastor. There will be an Appreciation Luncheon honoring Rev. & Mrs. Robert Hornick, who served as the interim pastor at Concord during the pastoral search. The luncheon will be an opportunity to extend out thanks to Rev. and Mrs. Hornick in appreciation of their ministry during this time. The installation service of the new pastor will be at 6 p.m. The community is invited to attend. Rev. Robert Looper, pastor of McIlwain Presbyterian in Pensacola will deliver the sermon at the installation service at 6 p.m. A reception for the Becker Family will follow the service. The congregation of Concord Church invites the community of Gulf Breeze, Navarre & Pensacola to attend and meet the new pastor and his family!
