International Honor Society in Education inducts PJC students
Pensacola Junior College announces that 23 students have been inducted into Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.
The students are Tonie Belanger, Christine Bevans, Kenzie Broxson, Lynette Broxson, Ashley Bush, Lindsey Dowden, Paula Dunning, Crystal Ferguson, Catherian Florian, Marnie Gire, Joshua Green, Megan Hubbard, Amy Jayne, Doris Orvis, Monica Parries, Whitney Phillips, Kelly Rowell, Teresa Tyler, Michelle Walls, Brittany Winsett, Natalie Withum, Maghen Wright and Brandi Young.
Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession.
Founded in 1911 at the University of Illinois, Kappa Delta Pi is the largest honor society in education, representing more than 45,000 active members. Its most distinguished members have included Margaret Mead, Albert Einstein and George Washington Carver.
