Christmas Comedy and Mystery Play
Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Navarre will perform a Christmas comedy and mystery entitled “McCloud and the Christmas Casper” on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Navarre is located at 8177 East Bay Boulevard in Navarre.
Olivet Baptist to Present Annual Christmas Musical
Sunday Dec. 18, at 11 am, the Olivet Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir will present, "I'll Be Home For Christmas." Created by Sue C. Smith and Russell Mauldin and masterfully arranged and orchestrated by Russell Mauldin, they have provided us with a touching insight into the spirit of the season with a wonderful blend of simple, but compelling drama and memorable songs.
This 35 minute musical is a classic celebration that will stir all who attend with heartfelt stories of Christmas. Giving is what Christmas is all about-God sending His one and only Son as a gift we did not deserve-the free gift of salvation!
This captivating retelling of the Christmas story combined with familiar classic songs and hymns, narrated by Brother Jim Fletcher, make "I'll Be Home For Christmas," the perfect musical for our Milton Community for 2011!
Bagdad UMC Christmas Cantata
The Bagdad United Methodist Church choir will present a Christmas Cantata - "Mary Did You Know" on Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served afterwards. The community is invited to come and experience the true meaning of Christmas through this musical presentation.
55th Antiques Show and Sale
Christ Church, Pensacola will hold its 55th Antiques Show Feb. 3 through Feb. 5, 2012. Twenty-two vendors from as far away as Illinois and Kentucky, North and South Carolina and across the Southeast! The show will be held in the Currin Center at Christ Church at 14 W. Wright St., Downtown Pensacola from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from noon - 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the Show will be charged: $5 for one day or $7 for all three days .With all proceeds benefitting local charities. Tickets for all events may be purchased in advance at the church office or at the door of the event.
