Blazier and Allen wed
Jacqueline Amber Blazier, Savannah, GA, and Daniel Paul Allen, Brunswick, GA were married on August 22, 2009, a beautiful, sunny day, at Lighthouse Beach, NAS Pensacola, Florida. A reception was held after the ceremony at the Navarre Regency, Navarre Beach.
Jackie is the daughter of Jim and Phyllis Blazier, Milton. She has a brother Jason, of Pace who was in attendance with this wife, Lisa, and four other children. She is the granddaughter of the late Bea Williams, "Miss Bea," of Milton. Dan is the son of Dan and Maureen Allen of Brighton, Colo., who were in attendance for the event.
The ceremony was conducted by Richard McCool, Milton, an elder of the Margaret Street Church of Christ, and friend of the bride and her family. Attending the bride, was Monica Segrario, friend of the bride, Fairfax, VA, who served as matron of honor. Also attending the bride was Lisa Blazier, sister-in-law of the bride, and Ashley Davis, Savannah, GA, friend of the bride. The flower/shell girl was Emmy Blazier, niece of the bride, Pace, Florida
Attending the groom were long time friends, David Mayeski, Naples, FL, best man, along with Bill Collins, Ft. Collins, CO, and Brian White, husband of Monica Segrario, Fairfax, VA.
The bride was escorted by her father to the beautiful beach looking out across the pass into the Gulf, where friends and family awaited. The couple stood in the middle of a circle of shells, bordered by palm trees and ball lanterns. The ceremony included a sand ceremony involving the parents of the couple, as well as a shell ceremony after their vows, where the guests each threw a shell into the water as they said a prayer for the couple, watching the ripples from each individual shell become one ripple. The final prayer was led by the bride’s cousin, Glen Laird, of Huntsville, Alabama.
The bride is a graduate of Milton High School, and University of West Florida with a bachelor's degree in Education. She is employed by Fleet Feet, Savannah, as a buyer and manager. The groom holds bachelors and masters degrees from Regis University, Denver. He is employed by NCIS, and is a reserve officer in the U.S. Navy. The couple honeymooned on Pensacola Beach, and is residing in Brunswick, Ga. They want to thank everyone who helped to make their dream come true, especially Dot Russell and Kathy Powell who directed and decorated for the event.
