PCT holding auditions for "On Golden Pond"

The Panhandle Community Theatre will hold auditions for their next production, "On Golden Pond," Dec. 1 and 2 at the Imogene Theatre in downtown Milton at 6:30 p.m.

The play, made famous by the movie starring Katherine Hepburn and Henry Fonda, requires three adult males, two women and one teen-aged boy.  The two primary roles need actors with ages between the high 50s to low 70s.  The other adult roles are for actors who can appear to be in their mid 40s.

Auditions should last approximately two hours and will use cold readings from the script and improvisational scenes.  The first production of the 2009 season, “On Golden Pond” is scheduled to go to curtain February 20, 21, 22, 27 28 and March 1, 2009.

Persons interested in working as part of the house or stage crew should attend and sign up for their area of interest.

For synopsis of play and characters please visit the PCT website at www.panhandlecommunitytheatre.com <http://www.panhandlecommunitytheatre.com/.  For additional information contact Lauren Sutton after 6 pm at 626-8966.
