Anniversaries - September 1, 2010
Billy and Shirley Hopkins of Chumuckla celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, August 6th. Shirley is a dietary manager, employed by New Horizons of Pensacola. Billy is retired and enjoys spending time farming/gardening while keeping his friends and family supplied with plenty of vegetables and sugar cane.
They have 2 children—Ricky (Lesa) Hopkins and Amanda (Stephen) Leavins; 5 grandchildren—Alicia (Sam) Summerlin, Jessica (Wesley) Bullard, and Brian (Danyelle) Banter, Amber Leavins and Katelyn Leavins; 4 great grandchildren—Taylor Bullard, Cody Bullard, Zackary Banter, and Rachel Banter.
Billy and Shirley celebrated their anniversary with the renewing of their vows and a reception held at Pace Assembly of God on Saturday, July 31st. The happy couple, wished a Bon Voyage by their family and friends, enjoyed a cruise to Mexico.
