MILTON — A Santa Rosa County Jury found Milton man Jevon Marquise Lamar Husfelt, 22, guilty of two counts of attempted first degree premeditated murder with a weapon, according to State Attorney Bill Eddins.

On Nov. 9, 2017, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence in Milton in reference to a stabbing. When deputies arrived, they located one victim with multiple stab wounds and another victim with the knife still lodged in his head. Both victims had to be transported to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment. Husfelt had fled the scene on foot. Authorities found him a mile from the incident.

Husfelt will be sentenced on July 24 by Circuit Court Judge John Simon. He faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison.
