GULF BREEZE — Gulf Islands National Seashore officials have announced participation in the annual International Coastal Cleanup.

The park is organizing volunteer crews to help clean park beaches on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interested volunteers should meet at the Langdon Beach Pavilion in the Fort Pickens Area.

Volunteers assisting with the coastal cleanup will be admitted to the Fort Pickens Area free of charge for the cleanup. International Coastal cleanup volunteers are advised to wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen and hats.

Volunteers should also bring a reusable water bottle; the park will have water coolers to refill water bottles.
