As of Sunday morning, no arrests had been made in the fatal shooting.
MUNSON — A rural Santa Rosa County man was found shot to death Saturday following a domestic dispute, according to a news release from Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office.
SRSO reported that deputies responded at 12:41 p.m. to 11411 Green Road in the Munson area for a domestic disturbance. Danny Wayne King, 44, was identified in the call as being the primary aggressor. While en route, deputies were informed through a separate 911 call that King had been shot.
When arriving on scene, deputies found King dead, killed by an apparent single gunshot wound, according to the release.
Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene of the shooting in the rural northern part of the county, as well as members of the State Attorney’s Office. SRSO noted in the release that all parties involved in the shooting were identified and interviewed. Detectives are reviewing evidence and statements to determine if any criminal violations occurred.
