A Pensacola woman has succumb to injuries she sustained Monday following an alcohol-related, single-vehicle crash in Santa Rosa County.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, 30-year-old Nina Marie Webb was driving south on Stephens Road near the intersection with Thorton Street in Pace at 1:28 p.m. when her 2000 Lincoln Town Car left the roadway.
After leaving Stephens Road, the Lincoln collided with a concrete culvert located on the west shoulder. The vehicle came to a final rest in a ditch 125 feet from the intersection.
Webb — who wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and deemed to be under the influence of alcohol by FHP — was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. She was later pronounced dead at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday by Dr. Marcos and Dr. Wolf, according to the news release.
