CRESTVIEW — A 46-year-old Florala woman was charged with assault after attacking another woman and then biting her.

A witness told Crestview Police Department officers that she’d entered the home where they were fighting and found the victim on top of the suspect, trying to keep her from swinging at her.

The witness then restrained the suspect so the other woman could escape, according to her Crestview Police Department arrest report.

The suspect told officers that the other two women came to the house unannounced to begin moving their father’s belongings and that one of them was disrespectful and belligerent.

She said that the victim made a statement that made her so angry she could not control her temper.

“The force at which her fat (expletive) lunged, pushed me backwards, knocking over chairs and dislocating tables,” she told officers, after admitting to swinging at the other woman.
