MILTON — Charges are pending after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 about 11 p.m. Saturday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Miguel Lozano of D'Iberville, Mississippi, was traveling west in the inside lane in a 2000 GMC Yukon just west of Avalon Boulevard as he approached a 2003 GMC Sierra driven by 25-year-old Christopher Surtees from behind. Lozano drifted into the outside lane and collided with a trailer carrying a race car being pulled by the Sierra, the FHP said. After impact, Lozano veered left and hit the inside concrete barrier.
