Hello, my name is John. I read your Wednesday (July 23) paper and I agree that we need to stop with the rumors and innuendo about TEAM Santa Rosa. Lets find out what TEAM Santa Rosa’s budget is and how much they get from the county, their salaries, and where all the money goes. That is where the next investigation needs to be. I don’t see a lot of good for the community coming from TEAM’s efforts. Lets see what the real truth will come out of that.

Hi this is Frances. I am calling about this slain officer in Ft. Walton Beach. We also had a case in Bonifay by these supposed bipolar people. Law enforcement, the cities, the state, and State Attorney’s need to send these people to Avon Park instead of putting them somewhere and they get out three days later. It is just getting to be where they have all the rights. It has gone a little too far.

Yes this is Bill. I just got done reading Speak Out and the article on the smoking issue. If smoking is so bad why doesn’t the government take them off the shelves?
Is it because we still want the tax money? If they are so bad let take them off the shelves and get it over with.

Hi my name is Paul. I keep reading about a survey involving Highway 90. I live in Pace and have not received a survey. Highway 90 is a very critical part of our lives here. I would like to know when I am going to get my survey and let my feeling be felt. Also, why don’t they synchronize the lights on Highway 90? I have lived in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans and the lights worked and you could drive 45 miles an hour and get right through on green. When traffic is heavy it would really help if they were synchronized.

Good day from Paul. I agree with Thomas in Pace when it comes to the high grass and weeds along the side of the roads and medians. TEAM Santa Rosa, the City Council, and the County Commission work very hard to bring people here, but when the decision makers come to town what do they see?
They see a county that is not well kept or rather shabby instead of a well-groomed community. You should consider your mowing schedule. It is called curb appear or it should be called eye appeal.
