All-stars to play Tuesday

Three Santa Rosa seniors will be participated Tuesday in the 3^rd Annual High School All-Star Volleyball game hosted by the Pensacola Sports Assocaition.

Representing Milton High School will be outside hitter Veronica Ffrench and right side hitter Racheal Gills, while Pace is represented by outside hitter Brittany Steele.

The all-star game will be played Nov. 24 at 6:00 in the University of West Florida Field House.

Eightteen different schools from Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties will combine to make up the east and west rosters.

Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties will comprise the east team, while Escambia will comprise the west squad.

This game will give area seniors the chance to compete one last time in front of their community and college coaches. This game will also be a good opportunity to test their skills against the area’s best talent.

The Head Coaches for this year’s game are Ben Kimbrough from Crestview High School and Kerry Clarke from Pensacola High School.

Milton’s Lori Erickson is listed as an assistant coach on the east squad.

This year the PSA is teaming with Manna Food Bank for a canned good drive and we are encouraging everyone to bring a canned good to the game.  Thanksgiving is two days after the game and this is a good opportunity to help give food in a time when many people could use the help.
