Yeah, this is Jim in Pace. I think that the fee they are going to charge people for having accidents in Milton is outrageous. We are paying our city taxes already, paying taxes on merchandise in the city; they are getting paid as well as getting grants. This is outrageous. People need to minimize going through the Milton area. Thanks again.
Editor’s note: The people who live outside of Milton are not paying taxes to the city of Milton. The taxes they pay go to the school system, county, and their respective fire districts. Only Milton residents are charged Milton city taxes.

This is Jessie from Pace. I am calling to tell somebody my Momma is buried in Juniper Cemetery in Chumuckla. Here lately everything we take up there flower vases, little angels, praying hands, and little artifacts like that to put on her grave are being stolen. Somebody is taking them away from the gravesite. Not only is it wrong, but also it is also illegal. You don’t have to worry about me, but when you go in front of the good Lord when you pass away you are going to have to stand in front of Him and explain why you do sorry stuff like that. That’s sorriness period and something needs to be done. I don’t know what you think you are doing, but the good Lord is going to smack you down when you are before Him when you pass away. Something needs to be done about this sorry mess.

Hi, this is Jimmy. I would like to comment on what Peggy said about the dentists in the county. It is really pathetic. I have to take my little blind grandbaby all the way to Pensacola to get her dental work done and she lives just two streets down from one. These bunch of money hungry dentists in Milton ought to get their act together and start showing some compassion for people on Medicaid and everything. Thank you.

Hi this is Joel here in beautiful Milton. Last Friday, May 9, I was at the McDonalds on Avalon Boulevard around three or four in the afternoon. There were two deputies at the store and they were talking to these black people in the handicapped zone. Anyway it seemed to me they were just seeing what was going on with them. I went in the McDonalds and when I came out the older deputy was taking money out of his wallet to give them some money. I am telling you this is good police work. This is what they are supposed to be doing, helping out people. The sheriff should give every deputy $20 to keep in their patrol car to help people they run across when they are down on their luck. I am sure they can find out who this officer was, but I just wanted to commend him on a job well done.

This is Jim. Concerning the three-tier school program. Doesn’t the school board realize that having the high school kids start the early tier that a number of problems would be solved? The students would get out of class early and they could go to their jobs, be in athletics, attend band practice or go to their classes at PJC. And the younger children would get to sleep later. Thank you.

Hi, this is Judy. I paid $25 for a brick for the Blackwater Heritage Trail brick and now I have nothing to show for it. I was wondering whom I should contact about that since I don’t have a brick or anything to show for the $25. And I love this service, bye-bye.
