Defense fund established for Frank Lay and Robert Freeman
A checking account has been set up to assist Frank Lay in his court battle. Lay and Robert Freeman, Athletic Director at Pace High School, have to defend themselves in Federal Criminal Court on Sept. 17.
The charges stem from a “blessing” offered at a school building dedication. They have been charged with violating a Consent Order made between the Santa Rosa County School Board and the ACLU. If found guilty, Lay and Freeman could be sentenced to serve time in a federal prison, fined, or both.
This account is to assist in the legal costs and fines if applicable. Contributions are not tax deductible.
Contributions can be made at any branch of First National Bank of Florida (Milton, Pace, Pace Wal-Mart, Navarre, Destin, or Pensacola) in the name of the Lay and Freeman Defense Fund.
