Speak Out August 2

Hi, I want to make a comment about the tall grass along Highway 90 in Pace and Pea Ridge, especially Pea Ridge. I work in lawn care and own my own business and the grass is getting very tall and extremely disgustingly ugly to our community. I have called the powers to be and having volunteered numerous times to cut the grass with my equipment, my time, my gas, and my mower, but I have been told by the powers that I would be prohibited and unlawful. They would make sure to keep me off the property and that they would do it in their own due time. They said that they would not allow me or anyone else to cut the grass.

In response to the person talking about the busses being on the road this summer and them being at the Pea Ridge Theater. They are there because they have kids in summer camp on them. The reason for that is the parents have to work during the summer holiday. And it cost us $17 a day per child.

Yes this is Thomas from Pace. I have a message for Tom and Bill over the grass. That is why we pay taxes. Buy gas for these big mowers to cut the grass. People are walking to Winn Dixie to save some money on gas and they have to walk knee deep in grass to get there. We need to get more done by these crews along the side of the road. That is why we pay taxes to get things done, you idiot.

Yes this is Bill. I would like to point out that several people have been arrested, re-arrested, and escaped in the last year or two. Maybe the state attorney needs to use the habitual offender statue. Maybe he needs to get back in the groove and give these people some sentences that would cause them a little hardship. This bull crap is getting out of hand with these crack, dope and drug dealers. These habitual offenders are something the county should get in an uproar about.

Hi, this is Bonnie. I was in a funeral procession Sunday for my sister. I was so shocked at all of the inconsiderate people that did not stop for the funeral procession. The funeral home is in Pea Ridge and went down Stewart Street.
There was one person who turned in the median right in front of the hearse. I have never seen so many inconsiderate people in Milton in my life as far as what happened on Sunday.
